Accompanied by a cup of tea or coffee, this traditional Japanese dessert is the perfect snack. It's made using cane sugar and sweet potatoes harvested in Kagoshima, with "Fukumi Fiber" glutinous barley from Hyogo prefecture. Each warabi mochi contains at least 150 grains of glutinous barley! Very easy to prepare, simply sprinkle the kinako and kuromitsu over the warabi mochi to enjoy the sweet, comforting flavours that everyone will love. It also goes very well with mugicha or another cereal infusion such as genmaicha or sobacha.

A sweet but subtle taste

I've been living in Japan for a few years and was delighted to taste something reminiscent of my time there!
The flavor was nostalgic and as authentic as I can remember.
