Collection: Akamine Distillery
Founded in 1868 in Oita, the Akamine distillery continues a 140-year tradition of shochu production. Run by the fifth generation of the family, it combines ancestral know-how with innovation, creating refined spirits that combine the authenticity of tradition with adaptation to modern tastes. Specializing in the production of shochu using high-quality malt, pure local water and a unique fermentation technique, the Akamine distillery favors artisanal production, meticulously controlled for each batch. Numerous awards testify to the consistent quality of its creations, such as first prize at the national spirits competition in 2015.
