Chitosezuru

Located in the heart of Sapporo since its founding in 1872, Chitose Tsuru has carried on the legacy of pioneer Shibata Yojiuemon, Hokkaido’s first sake brewer. Driven by a spirit of innovation and high standards, it has played a central role in the development of the local industry. Its specialty, “Chitose Tsuru” sake, is brewed with pure groundwater from the Toyohira River, which gives it a clean, well-structured flavor. A 14-time winner of the prestigious National Sake Competition, it embodies the excellence of the Japanese brewing tradition in the north of the country.
