Founded in 1818 in Nihonbashi by Tokubei Hosoda, Eitaro Confectionary embodies two centuries of the art of wagashi in the heart of Tokyo. From its beginnings with its founder's emblematic kinchaku to the popular success of "Umeboshi-ame" or "Amanatto" sweets, it has established itself as one of Japan's leading confectioners.
