Collection: Taikai Shuzo
Located in Kanoya, in the south of the Ōsumi peninsula (Kagoshima prefecture), Taikai Shuzō is a house founded in 1975, deeply rooted in the local terroir. It makes its shōchū from sweet potatoes grown by partner farmers with whom it maintains close ties. Keen to preserve artisanal know-how, it favors traditional methods based on the five senses of the master brewers, who reside on site throughout the brewing period.
