Shizuoka is a region renowned for wasabi cultivation, with plants grown using pure spring water from Mount Fuji. Thanks to this exceptional terroir, the wasabi grows slowly over a period of 11 to 18 months, using techniques passed down for over 140 years.
Its spicy flavor and crunchy texture, combined with a lemony aroma, make it an excellent accompaniment to enhance your dishes. You can incorporate it into sauces, vinaigrettes, or soups, but also use it to accompany raw fish, whether in sushi, sashimi, or grilled fish dishes.
