Collection: Marukyu Koyamaen

Founded during the Genroku era (1688-1704) by Koyama Kyūjirō in the heart of Uji, near Kyoto, the Marukyu Koyamaen house has upheld the Uji tea tradition for over three centuries. It grows and processes its own tea leaves according to the motto “quality above all,” and regularly takes top honors in the national tea competition. The house supplies tea to hotels, temples, shrines, and renowned schools throughout Japan.
