A high-quality product recommended by Hyogo Prefecture. The seaweed is harvested in Akashi, in Hyogo prefecture, one of Japan's main fishing areas, renowned for its seaweed. The seaweed is grown in swift currents, giving it a unique texture and taste. Like the Shincha for tea, only the first shoots of the year are harvested and then roasted according to a precise method to preserve all their rich flavor and aromas. The seaweed is slowly roasted, giving it a texture that starts out thick, then melts in the mouth, bringing out the full taste of nori seaweed! Rich in both taste and nutrients, it can be eaten as is, in salads, or as a condiment to season a dish.
