Sealuck is a Japanese company founded during the Meiji era in Shizuoka Prefecture. Originally specializing in seafood processing and dashi, it has since expanded this expertise to instant soups, notably in the form of monaka, a format traditionally given as a wedding gift in Japan.
1/ Make a small hole in the bottom of the monaka and pour the granulated contents into a bowl.
2/ Slowly pour 100 ml of hot water into the bowl, avoiding the wafer so that it floats on the surface.
3/ Mix thoroughly until completely dissolved.
Store away from light, heat, and moisture.
