Panko ⋅ Fuji Panko ⋅ 400g

Founded in 1950 and based in Tokyo ever since, Fuji Panko specializes in this Japanese breadcrumb. In 1955, the company coined the term “soft panko” to describe breadcrumbs that had not been dried—an innovation that has since become a standard.

Coat the ingredients in flour, then dip them in a mixture of one beaten egg and 2 tbsp of water. Coat everything in panko, pressing firmly so it sticks. Fry everything in oil at 170°C until golden brown.

Store away from light, heat, and moisture.
