Sanuki udon is one of the most popular types of udon in Japan. It is made from wheat flour and water, and is renowned for its firm yet chewy texture. The dough is carefully prepared to achieve a smooth, uniform texture. The noodles have a subtle wheat flavor, making them suitable for a wide variety of dishes, whether served hot or cold. Sanuki udon is traditionally served in a dashi broth, with toppings such as seaweed, tempura, or vegetables.
