Hokkai

Founded in 1993, Hokkai Suisan was established after a year spent in Japan by company owner Marinus Noordenbos, who was working in a fish processing company there. Specializing in mackerel, a species abundant in the North Sea and exported in large quantities to Japan, the company began by producing and delivering mackerel to private Japanese customers in the Netherlands. Today, Hokkai Suisan offers over 60 traditional Japanese fish products and delivers them to over 8,000 families in Europe and the UK.
