Since matcha is a green tea powder and not an infusion, it requires a mixture. The traditional tool known as "Chasen" is specially developed for the preparation of Matcha tea.

The procedure is simple, but it is essential to adopt the appropriate movements. Before the first use, immerse the whisk in a small bowl or glass of lukewarm water for about two minutes to gently relax the stems. How to get a foam with matcha tea? Follow our advice to get a creamy foam. Hold your bowl, glass or mug with one hand and use the other to whisk the matcha + water mixture. The action must be energetic, reproducing the shape of an "m". The whisk stems must delicately touch the bottom and the rim of the cup without crashing against them. About twenty seconds later, a small foam forms. The preparation is over!

Maintenance: This small artisanal whip can be cleaned by simply rinsing it with cold water, without requiring the addition of cleaning products. Once washed, let it dry in a vertical position, with the stems up, or extended on its support, in a dry and well airy place.

Drying: in order to avoid the formation of mold (and to preserve the taste of your drink), it is crucial not to put it back in your case. The recycled and recyclable cardboard box in which it is delivered is only used to protect the whisk during its transport. After a number of uses (around 300 on average), some strands can start to weaken. It is then the time to renew your acquisition by giving you a brand new whip.
