SHOKUDO · The canteen

The canteen is inspired by Japanese shokudo, small restaurants often run by an elderly couple, where you canenjoy a teishoku, the traditional Japanese meal. Teishoku is a healthy, balanced meal consisting of a bowl of rice, miso soup, a protein dish, a side dish and tsukemono, vegetable pickles. While the cuisine at iRASSHAI SHOKUDO is authentic, the atmosphere and location are more contemporary: you eat in designer crockery and sit on the terrace, without interruption, from lunch to dinner.

Reservations are not required for SHOKUDO.

This embodies iRASSHAi's desire to take the best of both worlds - Japanese authenticity in a Parisian setting - to create a unique experience.

Without interruption from lunch until dinner, it is at SHOKUDO · the canteen that you can sit down to enjoy authentic Japanese cuisine. Among other traditional specialties, it is the kare raisu which is in the spotlight here. This very popular curry in Japan is composed of meat or vegetables coated in a thick sweet and spicy sauce, accompanied by rice.
