House shichimi is an exceptionally well-balanced blend of seven 100% Japanese spices and ingredients: roasted red pepper, citrus zest, Japanese pepper, white and black sesame, green seaweed, green shiso and ginger. The result is a fragrant, flavorful and pleasantly piquant shichimi.
It can be used to season noodle dishes, fried rice, grilled fish, stir-fried vegetables and soups, or as a condiment for meat and fish dishes, marinades and sauces.
