In 1737, during the Edo period, Yagicho Honten was founded in Nihonbashi, Tokyo. The company supplies restaurants with Kombu seaweed, which is used to make dashi, the broth that forms the basis of the Japanese diet. Its boutique was completely renovated in 2017 by Tsune Nagasaka. This grocery store offers only high-quality products produced in partnership with local producers.
