Recipe Torikatsu donburi
Enjoy a delicious Torikatsu, the Japanese version of breaded chicken that's crispy, tender and juicy on the inside. Perfect for a quick individual meal, served with rice, salad or stir-fried vegetables. An explosion of Japanese flavors in every bite!

Ingredients
- 4 chicken fillets (about 150 g each)
- Salt
- 4 tbsp. flour
- 2 beaten eggs
- 12 tbsp. panko breadcrumbs
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Tonkatsu sauce to accompany
- Pepper
Directions
- Slightly flatten the chicken fillets to a uniform thickness.
- Season the fillets on both sides with salt and pepper.
- Dip each fillet in the flour, then in the beaten egg, and finally in the panko breadcrumbs, pressing lightly so that they adhere well.
- Heat the oil in a large frying pan and fry the chicken for about 4 to 5 minutes on each side, until golden and crispy.
- Drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
- Serve immediately with tonkatsu sauce and your choice of side dishes (rice, salad, sautéed vegetables).
