When the heat is on and we need an energizing refreshment, there's nothing like lemonade. But have you ever heard of yuzunade? As the name suggests, it's a cross between yuzu and lemonade. Discover our recipe for yuzunade, which is just as refreshing as classic lemonade, with the added taste of Japan!

Ingredients

1 L sparkling water
5 yuzu (or 250 ml yuzu juice/syrup)
250 g sugar
Fresh mint or orange blossom water (optional)

Instructions

Squeeze the yuzu into a bowl and mix with the sugar (250 g).
Add yuzu zest if desired.
Strain your container and leave overnight in the fridge for the sugar to turn into syrup.
Strain the syrup into a pitcher, add the sparkling water and a few slices of yuzu.
Serve with ice cubes and fresh mint leaves or orange blossom water.

You can use the yuzu syrup or juice sold in our grocery store!
