Wasabi Mayonnaise is a creamy, spicy sauce that's perfect for adding a Japanese twist to your sushi, poke bowls, sandwiches, or crunchy vegetables. Its mild heat combined with the smoothness of the mayonnaise makes it a must-have for fans of umami and spicy flavors.
Ingredients

3 tablespoons Japanese mayonnaise (Kewpie or other brand)

1 teaspoon wasabi paste (adjust according to desired spiciness)

1 teaspoon rice vinegar

½ teaspoon soy sauce (optional, for added umami)

1 small pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise with the wasabi paste.
Add rice vinegar and soy sauce if desired.
- Whisk until you obtain a smooth, even texture.
- Taste and adjust the spiciness or seasoning to your liking.
Recipe notes
For a milder version, reduce the amount of wasabi and add a few drops of honey. The sauce can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 days.
