Furikake, which means "to sprinkle" in Japanese, is, as its name suggests, a condiment that can be sprinkled on anything. The traditional recipe consists of dried and ground fish, seaweed, salt and sesame seeds. It's one of the main ingredients of ochazuke, a Japanese dish consisting of a bowl of rice over which hot green tea is poured.
