Furikake, which means "to sprinkle" in Japanese, is, as its name suggests, a condiment that can be sprinkled on anything you like. The traditional recipe consists of dried and ground fish,seaweeds, salt, and sesame seeds. It is one of the main ingredients in ochazuke, a Japanese dish consisting of a bowl of rice topped with hot green tea.
