Furikake, which means "sprinkle" in Japanese, is, as its name suggests a condiment that we sprinkle on whatever you want. The traditional recipe is made up of dried and ground fish, algae, salt and sesame seeds. This is one of the main ingredients of the Ochazuke, a Japanese dish that consists of a bowl of rice on which we pour hot green tea.
