Inspired by the Italian tradition of affogato, this revisited dessert marries the subtle bitterness of Japanese matcha with the unctuous sweetness of vanilla ice cream. Refreshing and invigorating, our Matcha Affogato is a perfect balance between tradition and innovation, ideal for concluding a meal with a touch of elegance and refinement.
Ingredients
40 ml soft water if possible

1 tsp. matcha tea
- 1 scoop vanilla ice cream
Instructions
- Boil water at 80°C.
- In a bowl, add a teaspoon of matcha. Add 40 ml hot water and whisk with a small matcha whisk or milk frother.
- Place a scoop of vanilla ice cream in a small bowl, then pour in the matcha.
- Your matcha affogato is ready to enjoy!
