This matcha powder is made from premium tea leaves grown in Japan. Its taste is herbaceous and slightly bitter, accompanied by a fine, smooth texture. When prepared in the traditional way, its foam is light and creamy, ideal for making matcha tea or matcha latte. It can also be used as a cooking ingredient. Matcha is particularly rich in antioxidants, catechins and vitamins (A, C, K), as well as being an excellent source of natural caffeine, which enhances concentration and gently boosts energy. What's more, its rich l-theanine content promotes relaxation and reduces stress, making it the perfect choice to accompany your moments of relaxation and well-being.

More details on this product

Aoi Seicha, founded in 1966, is a family-run business based in Nishio, Aichi Prefecture. With a heritage spanning more than a century, Aoi Seicha stands out for its craftsmanship and its role in preserving Japanese green tea culture. Nishio is particularly renowned for the production of tencha, the raw material for matcha, thanks to its fertile soil and favorable climate. Aoi Seicha favors the cultivation of shady tea bushes, which produce leaves rich in chlorophyll and amino acids, giving their matcha a characteristic umami flavor and intense green color.
The Vendor strives to reduce its environmental impact by working with local growers who practice sustainable agriculture. Aoi Seicha is much more than just a matcha producer: it is an ambassador for Japanese tea culture, combining heritage and modernity to satisfy tea lovers and the curious from all over the world.
