Ingredients

  • 3 g of hojicha powder
  • 40 ml of water at 80 °C
  • 2 dates
  • 200 ml of milk of your choice
  • 40 ml of oat milk
  • 1 tsp white miso

Directions

  1. Start by preparing your shot of hojicha.
  2. Mix 3 g of hojicha powder with 40 ml of water at 80 °C.
  3. Next, soak two dates in water until they soften.
  4. Blend the dates with 40 ml of oat milk and 1 tsp of white miso until the mixture is smooth (add water if necessary).
  5. Pour the mixture into the bottom of your glass, add the ice cubes, and then pour in 200 ml of your choice of milk.
  6. Next, gently pour your shot of hojicha to create a perfect layer.
  7. Now all that's left is to sip it!
