Leek and Miso Tarte Tatin
How about putting a twist on this classic? We swapped out the apples for tender leeks and added a touch of miso for that umami flavor that makes all the difference. The result: a savory, caramelized, ultra-comforting tatin with that Japanese twist we love so much!

Ingredients
- 3 cases of olive oil
- 1 cup of mirin
- 1 tsp miso (dissolved in hot water)
- 1 tsp honey
- Fresh goat cheese
- 3 to 4 leeks (depending on the baking dish and the size of your leeks)
- Sesame seeds
Directions
- Prepare the marinade by mixing together the olive oil, mirin, miso, and honey.
- Wash, slice, and arrange 3–4 leeks in your baking dish.
- Pour in the marinade.
- Cover with shortcrust pastry.
- Bake the tart for 25 to 30 minutes in an oven preheated to 180°C
- After baking, top with fresh goat cheese and sesame seeds, to taste.
- Now all that's left is to enjoy it!
