Hugh Amano (author) was born in a small mountain town in Colorado, an American mother and a Japanese father. His love for cooking led him to travel to get rich as a chef and author. A graduate of the University of Colorado and New England Culinary Institute, he is now a chief and writer in Chicago, the familiar flavor of the ramen is still comforting.
Sarah Becan (illustrated by) has always drawn, and her love for food has done the rest. His work was published in various publications including SAVORD, Eater.com, Starchefs and the Chicago Reader. His first graphic novel, The Complete Ouija Interviews, won one of the prizes in the Xeric Foundation. She lives in Chicago, and would be very happy to do nothing but draw food all day.
