It is a Koshihikari Japanese rice adapted to the European climate! It is indeed harvested in rice fields located in the Italian Alps. Its taste and texture are very similar to Koshihikari, which makes it a more ecological alternative to Japanese Koshihikari.

It is characterized by a brilliant appearance and a umami taste that does not detect in cooking, which makes it ideal rice on a daily basis to accompany a light dish made from tsukemono or raw fish.
