Collection: Tokushima Gyoren

The Tokushima Prefecture Federation of Fisheries Cooperatives (JF Tokushima Gyoren) is an organization that brings together the region’s coastal fisheries cooperatives. Founded on October 14, 1949, it supports production and the development of fishing communities while ensuring the sustainable management of local marine resources.

Tokushima is blessed with a bountiful sea, a source of high-quality seafood, including wakame and nori. Faced with modern challenges, such as an aging fishing population and fluctuating fish prices, the organization works to maintain economic stability for fishermen and develop seafood products for a broad audience.
