Potato starch and Honkuzu starch often used to prepare the Kuzukiri.

Kuzukiri is a traditional Japanese dessert made from potato starch, also known as "Kuzu paste".
To prepare it, start by boiling water in a saucepan. Then add the Kuzukiri slices and cook them for about a minute. Then rinse them with cold water to cool them.

Kuzukiri can be served with a wide variety of sauces and garnishes, according to your preferences. One of the most popular options is Kuromitsu, a sweet sauce made from melasse of brown sugar, sugar and water. Simply add the kuromitsu to the kuzukiri and serve it with ice or fruit.
