A traditional Japanese dish based on glutinous rice, chestnuts and black soybeans. It is mainly tasted during fall and winter.

The sticky rice is sticky and slightly sweet. The chestnuts and the black soy add an additional texture and flavor, while the soy sauce and the sesame oil bring a salty and umami touch.

It can be tasted alone or as an accompaniment of winter dishes, such as braised meats or soups.
