Marque : Kirishima shuzo
⋅ Beautiful texture
⋅ Sweet and balanced aroma
⋅ The first shochu from the Kirishima Brewery
⋅ Enjoy it neat, on the rocks, or with soda
This classic shochu, highly regarded in Japan, offers a creamy texture, a sweet aroma, and a dry flavor. It is enjoyed according to traditional Japanese methods: neat, on the rocks, with soda, or with either warm or cold water. Kuro Kirishima Sweet Potato Shochu was the first shochu produced by the founder of the Kirishima distillery in 1916. The name Kuro means black and comes from the fact that black rice koji is used in Kuro Kirishima Shochu. The combination of this black rice koji and sweet potatoes gives this Japanese spirit a sweet aroma and a pleasant smoothness. The nose is light, fresh, and tart; the taste is clean, mellow, and sweet. The finish is long and dry.
