This sencha is cultivated under the JAS label (the equivalent in France of the organic agriculture label) in the city of Kakegawa, next to Mount Fuji. The sencha is characterized by a light green color and a floral taste with a touch of astringent and Umami, it is the favorite green tea of the Japanese. In order to preserve the freshness of the leaves, these are steamed and then dried. Delicious hot and cold, this tea is perfect at the end of the meal, with a dessert.
