The Kukicha is obtained by mixing green tea leaves with tea rods. It was originally manufactured by the peasants after they sold their best sheets to the nobles. It is characterized by a slightly vegetable and sweet taste. It is less rich in tea than other green teas, which makes it ideal to accompany a snack at any time of the day.

You can infuse it in milk, cream or syrup to add a subtle green tea flavor. It can be incorporated into recipes of ice, pastries, sauces or marinades to bring a touch of delicacy.
