Saké junmai ginjo nigori
⋅ Polished to 60%
⋅ Made from Hidahomare rice
⋅ Lactic notes of fermentation, typical of lightly filtered sakes
⋅ Wonderful accompaniment to Japanese dishes

Sasara Tsuki Junmai is a slightly cloudy nigori, but rather dry for this type of sake. With a light filtration process, it has a smooth texture and an aromatic bouquet marked by notes of fermentation and pleasant lactic acidity, counterbalanced by fruity fragrances. We recommend serving it well chilled and well blended to accentuate its distinctive flavor and creamy texture. Hidahomare rice is 60% polished and, due to low filtration, this sake retains a slight turbidity. This gives it a smooth flavor and aromatic complexity. It's the perfect sake for those seeking an original, full-textured tasting experience. Sake is also popular in New York, where it is served in many Japanese restaurants. It pairs perfectly with a variety of Japanese dishes, including seafood, grilled fish, grilled meats and even seafood pasta. For an ideal tasting experience, it is recommended to drink it at a temperature of around 10°C, but it is also delicious on ice or cut with yuzu.
