⋅ Junmai Ginjo Nigori Sake
⋅ 60% polished
⋅ Made with Hidahomare rice
⋅ Lactic notes from fermentation, typical of lightly filtered sakes
⋅ Pairs perfectly with Japanese dishes

Sasara Tsuki Junmai is a slightly cloudy nigori, yet rather dry for this type of sake. With a light filtration process, it features a creamy texture and an aromatic bouquet marked by fermentation notes and a pleasant lactic acidity, balanced by fruity aromas. It is recommended to serve it well-chilled and well-stirred to accentuate its distinctive flavor and creamy texture. Hidahomare rice is polished to 60%, and due to minimal filtration, this sake retains a slight cloudiness. This gives it a mellow flavor and beautiful aromatic complexity. It is a perfect sake for those seeking a unique tasting experience rich in texture. Sake is also popular in New York, where it is served in many Japanese restaurants. It pairs perfectly with a variety of Japanese dishes, including seafood, grilled fish, grilled meats, and even seafood pasta. For the best tasting experience, it is recommended to drink it at a temperature around 10°C, but it is also delicious on the rocks or mixed with yuzu.
