This oil offers a powerful sesame flavor without any perfume. Extracted by pressing the cold sesame seeds without roasting them, it has followed an unchanged method since 1725, during the Kyôhô era. This extraction method allows oil to keep its nutritional qualities as well as the subtle aromas of sesame, while offering a richer texture in the mouth. After extraction, the oil is filtered and bottling. Its absence of odor makes it very versatile, adding depth to food without altering its flavors and colors.
