Senjo Brewery is located in the prefecture of Nagano, a region known for its high altitude and its ideal climate for agriculture, including rice production. Founded in 1866 by Matsujiro Kurokouchi in Ina City, this brewery has more than 150 years of history.

Some Senjo sake and spirits are aged in wooden barrels to develop more complex aromas and flavors.
