This special matcha latte blend is made from matcha mixed with powdered sugar. Rich in theine, it can also be used as an alternative to sugar by being incorporated into yoghurts or sprinkled on cereals. Matcha is a green tea powder with an umami and slightly sweet taste. It is traditionally prepared by mixing it with water using a special whisk called a chasen. Simply dilute a tablespoon of granules in half a glass of water, then add the desired quantity of milk to enjoy an authentic matcha latte at home.

Powdered sugar, matcha (Fukuoka, Japan)

Store matcha in an airtight container to protect it from air and moisture. Keep away from direct light, in a cool, dry place. Avoid variations in temperature and humidity, especially when opening the container. Consume matcha within 3 to 6 months of opening to guarantee freshness. Use a clean, dry, non-metallic spoon to avoid contamination.

For use as instant coffee or in the kitchen

Too sweet for my taste to drink with milk as indicated in the instructions. Useful when you're in the mood for a matcha latte and in a hurry. If you're looking for a ceremonial matcha, this is the wrong product!

It's all sugar in the end

For 100g you have 93g of sugar, so if you just want to drink a little matcha without the bitterness that goes with it, it's perfect.
