Located in Sakado, Saitama Prefecture, Yugeta Shoyu is a leader in the artisanal production of soy sauce. Founded in December 1923 by Yugeta Sashige, the company draws on a tradition spanning over 200 years, inherited from an old soy sauce factory. True to its philosophy, the company uses only organic Japanese ingredients such as soybeans, wheat, and sun-dried sea salt. Its sauces, fermented in cedar barrels for a year, offer an authentic and natural taste.
