Le kukicha est obtenu en mélangeant des feuilles de thé vert avec des tiges de thé. Il était originellement fabriqué par les paysans après qu'ils aient vendu leurs meilleures feuilles aux nobles. Il se caractérise par un goût légèrement végétal et sucré. Il est moins riche en théine que les autres thés verts, ce qui le rend idéal pour accompagner une collation à tout moment de la journée. Vous pouvez l'infuser dans du lait, de la crème ou du sirop pour y ajouter une subtile saveur de thé vert. Il peut être incorporé dans des recettes de glaces, de pâtisseries, de sauces ou de marinades pour apporter une touche de délicatesse.

Traditional techniques were handed down from generation to generation until, in 1861, the company began wholesaling. It continues to produce high quality teas, managing production from cultivation to sale. This tea is produced in Uji, near Kyoto, which is renowned for the quality of its green tea.

For one cup: infuse 3g (1 teaspoon) of kukicha in 100ml of water at 65℃ for 90sec.

Store airtight, away from light, heat and moisture. After opening, use up quickly.
