Store away from moisture. Dry the pan on the stove after each use.
Before using your iron frying pan for the first time, wash it thoroughly in hot water with a dishwashing detergent to remove any impurities. Dry it thoroughly. Next, heat a little oil in the pan to coat the entire surface, then wipe off the excess with a paper towel. Repeat this operation with a fresh coat of oil before you start cooking, to ensure that the surface is well prepared. After each use, wash the frying pan with brush using only hot water. Immediately dry the pan by heating it to prevent rusting. If you don't plan to use the pan for some time, apply a thin coat of edible oil to the entire surface, including the wooden handle, to protect it from moisture and rust, and extend its life. Be careful not to burn the wooden handle. If any residue remains on the bottom of the pan, boil water in the pan to loosen it. For use on an induction hob, coat the bottom of the pan with oil and heat on "low" for about 2 minutes. Remove the excess oil, and you're ready to start using your pan.
