More details on this product
What started out as a small family business making soy sauce has become a famous and reputable company. Founded in 1893, Kayanoya today specializes in the production of high-quality food products, with a philosophy based on respect for ingredients, seasonality and Japanese culinary traditions, with an emphasis on artisanal production methods.
One of Kayanoya's flagship products is its dashi broth, an indispensable element of Japanese cuisine. In addition to the traditional dashi recipe with dried bonito shavings, katsuobushi, and kombu seaweed, Kayanoya also offers powdered broths suitable for vegetarian and vegan diets. Use our powdered broth with vegetables, kombu seaweed or shiitake mushrooms, for richly flavored preparations. These products are made with quality and authenticity in mind, using traditional manufacturing methods. They are made without artificial flavors or preservatives.

Very good product. My 9-year-old daughter loves it and drinks it as soup.
I use this product regularly. For all types of broth, Japanese or not, because it's mild and umami-tasting. And it's vegetable too. Easy to use.
