Located in Saijo, Hiroshima Prefecture, the Kamoizumi Brewery, founded in 1912, embodies a tradition of sake brewing shaped by over a century of history. The company values expertise passed down through several generations, adhering to the region’s “San-dan-shikomi” technique while using high-quality local ingredients. Its philosophy is to preserve the region’s natural resources, such as water from Mount Ryūō and Hiroshima rice, while continuing to offer rich and flavorful sakes that are unfiltered with activated carbon. Kamoizumi also stands out for its commitment to promoting sake culture internationally, now exporting to the Americas, Asia, and Europe.
