"Shiratsuru Awayuki" Sparkling Sake is a light and refreshing drink, perfect for festive occasions or as an aperitif. With a low alcohol content, it stands out for its smooth profile and intense fruitiness. Lightly colored, it offers fruity aromas with floral notes on the finish, creating a pleasant tasting experience. The sparkling texture adds to the freshness and makes this sake even more enjoyable. This sparkling sake can be enjoyed well-chilled to fully savor its aromas and effervescent texture. It also makes an excellent base for cocktails, particularly when combined with yuzushu or umeshu liqueurs, creating harmonious blends. This sake pairs particularly well with cheese, where its smoothness and freshness balance the richness of the cheese. It also pairs perfectly with cream croquettes, where the creamy texture of the sauce is balanced by the sparkling freshness of the sake. As an accompaniment to vegetables in sauce, such as "Barigui," the sake harmonizes perfectly with the umami of the sauce. For dessert, its sweetness and acidity blend with the richness of chocolate or the freshness of strawberries, creating a beautiful harmony of flavors. It can also be customized by adding fruits like yuzu or sudachi to enhance its freshness and aromatic profile. Nose: Fresh fruit, apricot. Palate: Aromas of hazelnut, vanilla, honey. Finish: Sweet with floral notes. Pairings: Candied nori seaweed and Warabi mochi recipe with kinako and kuromitsu

Unique in its history and innovations, Hakutsuru is now one of Japan’s leading sake producers.
The company’s history began in 1743, when Jihei Kano started producing sake in Kobe’s Nada district, located
in Hyogo Prefecture. A few years later, the company took the name Hakutsuru (“white crane”), paying tribute to
these birds that can be seen in the rice fields. Hakutsuru made its mark on the global stage by participating in
the 1900 Paris World’s Fair, after which the brand continued to grow.

Always an absolute delight. A delicious aperitif.
Always delicious, nicely chilled, and just as enjoyable as an aperitif as with a meal!
A harmless little delight! Enjoy it well chilled, for a light aperitif or with a meal...
I tasted it with my girlfriend at the Irashai restaurant basement (Biwan). The waitress suggested this sake with Shokado Bento. It went very well! I highly recommend it!! Super delicious!!
Perfect for a gift.
Excellent drink. We didn't know it and were pleasantly surprised.
This sparkling sake is a delight for the taste buds
We love it
The lovely young woman at the store told me it was very similar to prosecco. I bought it to see, and it's true, it does taste similar.
It's very refreshing, with bubbles just the way I like them. Too bad the bottle is so small... The blue glass bottle is very pretty, though—I kept it at home.
As soon as we tasted it, we loved it! And it was gone... Very smooth and fruity, we enjoyed it chilled in the lovely little sake glasses, also purchased from iRASSHAi.
I discovered it at the bar on the bartenders' recommendation, and I fell for this product at the grocery store!
The perfect idea for surprising your friends!!
For those who don't really like champagne, this sparkling sake is perfect :)
