The sencha is one of the most popular green teas in Japan. It is made from carefully selected green tea leaves and picked by hand, then quickly steamed to preserve their flavor and freshness.

This tea offers a rich and umami flavor, with notes of fresh grass. It has a silky texture and a bright green color.

It is delicious hot or cold. Its packaging in sachets makes it very easy to use.

100% green tea (Japan)

Keep away from light and heat.

Leave to infuse 1 sachet in 150ml of water at 50 ° C for 90s.

The origins of Ippodo dates back more than three centuries, in 1717, when Rihei Watanabe opened a store called Omiya to sell tea and ceramics. In 1846, the store was renamed Ippodo, which means "preserving". The name comes from Prince Yamashina, who appreciated Ippodo tea and wanted the store to preserve a tradition: to provide high quality tea. IPPODO continues to adapt to the evolution of times, but has remained faithful to high quality Japanese tea since then.
