Prepared from a mixture of shiitake mushroom broth and soy sauce, with a subtle Umami flavor, its texture is liquid and slightly thick.

Used as the basis for soups, broths, sauces and marinades, but also to add flavor to a wide variety of dishes, including sautéed vegetables, toasted meats and noodles.
