It is made with Tenku no Matcha, a premium matcha grown in the mountains of Shizuoka, in preserved natural areas with a cool, humid climate. The leaves are shaded for several weeks before harvest to enhance their sweetness, umami, and intense green color.
This liqueur is designed to preserve the complex aromas of matcha as much as possible: its slight bitterness, sweetness, umami, and fresh, plant-like notes are enhanced by an alcoholic base.
