A Soba Shochu (sweet potato alcohol) with rich buckwheat aromas to serve according to traditional Japanese methods: pure, with ice cubes or cut with cold or hot water. The philosophy of the brewery is that the natural environment produces the best shochu and, in accordance with tradition, the brewery is located in one of the most picturesque parts of Kyushu. The brewery draws its water from a volcanic source which was formed from five different rapids. Unkai translates into "sea of ​​clouds" and owes its name to the fall view that one has from the top of a hill in the region, made famous by an emperor of Japan who went there morning, noon and evening. Unkai is a unique distillation shochu.
