Collection: Hojicha roasted green tea

Like Genmaicha, the Hojicha was created for the sake of "economics" by the Japanese to "recycle" the leafs of Sencha who had lost their freshness. The leaves and stems are roasted to obtain a very tasty brown tea, poor in theine. Like matcha, it is also found in the form of a powder to be enjoyed in hot or cold latte.
