Vendor : KYOEIDO Company
Crunchy texture and sweet taste
⋅ Made in Kyoto
⋅ Inspired by the color of sakura trees
⋅ Ideal for decorating cakes and pastries
Crunchy-textured colored sugar candies made by rolling and coating sugar in large cauldrons over several days, creating the distinctive characteristics of konpeitô : the little spikes that form during the manufacturing process, known as "tsuno", which give these sweets their crunchy texture. These candies can be eaten as they are, but they are mainly used to decorate cakes, desserts or tables at festive occasions. Their bright colors and authentic sweet taste make them an ideal choice for adding a touch of whimsy to any preparation.
