This blend is assembled and roasted in Tokyo using micro-lots of coffee from Ethiopia and Guatemala, before being packaged in a drip-bag. The origins of the Roppongi district date back to the 17th century, during the Edo era. Originally a residential area, it was taken over by the American army after the Second World War. Many Western stores, restaurants and bars then established themselves here, giving it its reputation as an international nightlife district. Each drip-bag is packaged in a bag decorated with a representation of the Roppongi district.
