Founded in 1917, Riken is one of Japan's leading producers of flour and oil. It ranks among the top two in the Kyushu region. Its wheat production in Saga prefecture ranks 3rd nationally. For over 100 years, the company has worked in accordance with the principles of coexistence with the local community, consolidating its presence as a key player in the Saga and Kyushu regions.

For fluffy pancakes: Mix 1 egg and 140 ml milk in a bowl. Add 1 sachet of this pancake mix. Mix until smooth. Heat a frying pan over medium heat, then leave to cool slightly. Pour in a small amount of batter and cook over low heat for about 3 minutes, until bubbles appear. Turn over and cook the other side for 2 minutes.


For cookies: Beat 80 g soft butter with 50 g sugar. Add 1 egg, then 1 sachet of the pancake mix. Mix until smooth, then roll out to a thickness of 4-5 mm. Cut out shapes and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake at 180°C for 10-13 minutes. Leave to cool before serving.

Store away from light, heat and moisture.
